dr. Aniruddha Paul

Postdoc
Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM), Department of Microelectronics

Themes: Organs-on-chip

Biography

Aniruddha joined the ECTM group at TU Delft as a Postdoctoral researcher in August 2026 under the supervision of Dr. Massimo Mastrangeli. His research focuses on microfabrication and packaging strategies for microfluidic and organ‑on‑chip applications.

He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Twente in 2026, where he developed modular and standardized microfluidic organ‑on‑chip platforms as part of the SMART OoC consortium. During his doctoral studies, he also completed a research internship at UpNano GmbH in Austria, where he worked on the fabrication of 2PP-enabled organ‑on‑chip models.

He holds a Master’s degree in Nanotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden (2021) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India (2017). His Master’s thesis at Chalmers University focused on graphene–carbon nanotube hybrid structures. He also worked on ultrasound‑actuated microrobots during his Erasmus internship at the University of Twente.
