Acoustofluidic Devices for cell manipulation in Organ-on-a-Chip applications

Pradnya obtained her Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, India in 2022 and is currently pursuing her passion for interdisciplinary research through a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at TU Delft. She has developed a keen interest in MEMS-NEMS technologies for biomedical applications, and is working on a collaborative project for her thesis to explore acoustic wave devices for cell manipulation, with avenues towards contributing to the Organ-on-a-Chip domain. Being a nature lover and an avid birder and creative writer, she aims to rediscover the joy of mechanical engineering with a flavour of biology through her research.
