  4. Noise Analysis and prototype circuit readout of a TMR sensor
    • In Collaboration with TU Eindhoven
    • NOT an IC design project. 
    • Noise analysis, sensor physics, analog circuit design
  5. Packging and signal processing arrays of 3D magnetometers
    • In Collaboration with Raj Rajan in SPS
    • Flip-chip packaging, analog circuit design, digital signal processing, Signal processing algorithms. 
  6. Pulse Compression with GaN
    • simple fab and RF experiments

Assignment

These projects typically include:

1.   Perform a literature review of state-of-the-art in the technology/topic

2.   Model or calculate with FEM or other simulation your design

3.   Create a flow chart and fabricate your design in EKL/Kavli. OR tapeout in collaboration with another supervsor, OR assembly of your electronic design

4.   Test your hardware and benchmark against your literature review.
