MSc Lars Pantleon
Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM), Department of Microelectronics
Biography
Lars started his BSc in Electrical Engineering at Swansea University in Wales and completed it at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2023. During his studies, he first worked as a student laboratory assistant at ICEpower in the field of power electronics and later as a student analogue IC layout engineer at Infineon Technologies. At Infineon, he also conducted his BSc thesis on substrate noise coupling in integrated power devices. While at DTU, Lars also worked on a long-term project with what is now the 2DPHYS research group at the Department of Physics at DTU on characterising electronic properties of 2D materials.
After completing his BSc, Lars proceeded to obtained his MSc in Electrical Engineering at TU Delft in 2025 with a specialization in integrated circuit technology. He joined the Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM) reserach group in 2024 for his MSc thesis on a scalable method for quantifying ion transport in dielectrics. Afterwards, he remained in ECTM and started as a PhD candidate in November of 2025. His research is in collaboration with the Electronic Instrumentation (EI) research group and will focus on the development of integrated biomedical sensors for organ-on-chip and implantable biomedical applications.
