Biography
Alessandro Zompanti was born in Frosinone (Italy) in 1986. He received the Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universit� Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, in December 2010. His Graduation Thesis was entitled "Innovative technologies for ripening monitoring in food industry". He started working as research assistant in the Laboratory of Biomedical Robotics and Biomicrosystems in January 2011 at Universit� Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. His research programme was focused on the design and development of a mechatronic platform for human and animal behavioural analysis and on the development of robotic underwater systems. He is currently a PhD Student in Biomedical Engineering at Universit� Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, in the laboratory of Electronics for Sensor Systems, under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Pennazza. His research is focused on the design, calibration and test of sensor systems for biomedical and food applications.
