MSc Jialong Liang
Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM), Department of Microelectronics Themes: Micro/Nano System Integration and Reliability
Biography
Jialong Liang completed his bachelor’s degree in Information Management at Nanjing in 2022. He then entered the Institute of Engineering and Applied Technology at Fudan University to pursue an M.Eng. in Electronic Information (Computer Technology). His master’s research centered on neural networks and advanced data analytics, with a focus on complex signal analysis in brain-inspired neural systems and methodology transfer to machine-learning pipelines. His thesis investigated rapid decision-making using dynamic network modeling and time-varying connectivity analysis, framing it as a problem of graph-structured signal processing and representation learning that is conceptually connected to large models.
Jialong joined TU Delft in September 2025 as a PhD candidate in the ECTM group within the Department of Microelectronics. He is currently working on research that integrates large AI models with semiconductor packaging reliability and failure-mode analysis, aiming to build data-driven frameworks for reliability prediction and mechanism understanding in advanced packaging.
