Biography

Li obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2012 and completed her PhD at Loughborough University (UK) in 2016. After graduation, she joined Wuhan University of Technology, where she was appointed Lecturer in 2017 and promoted to Associate Professor in 2020. Since 2026, she has been conducting her Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie project within the ECTM group at Delft University of Technology, hosted by Prof. Willem Van der Driel.

Her current research focuses on power electronic packaging, particularly die-attachment technologies, multi-physics reliability modelling, and advanced materials characterisation. To date, Li has led 19 research projects as PI, securing over €550,000 in funding, and has co-authored over 80 peered-reviewed publications, two book chapters, and 9 patents.
