MSc Bergmann

PhD student
Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM), Department of Microelectronics

Themes: Micro/Nano System Integration and Reliability

Biography

Ole completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Germany, in 2020 and 2023, respectively. During his studies, Ole joined the rectifier development team at Nexperia in Hamburg as a working student and pursued his master's thesis in cooperation with TUHH and Nexperia. In his thesis work, Ole developed a model for the thermal impedance and surge current capabilities of power diodes. During this time, he gained experience in finite element method (FEM) simulations and various measurement methodologies.

In February 2024, he joined the Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM) and the Electronic Instrumentation (EI) group as a PhD student, where he will work on wireless power transfer (WPT) systems for high-power applications. His work will be part of the European All2GaN project.
